G.O.A.T

G.O.A.T by Kate Temple and Jol Temple, illustrated by Rebel Challenger

Goat knows exactly what his name means: Greatest Of All Time. He is completely certain that the title belongs to him — until the rest of the farmyard decides that they would like to be G.O.A.T.s too.

Soon the animals are inventing increasingly ridiculous meanings for the four famous letters. Could a G.O.A.T. be a Good Or Awesome Tap-Dancer, or perhaps a Gorgeous Octopus Arm Twister? As every new suggestion raises the silliness, the friends must decide whether greatness belongs to one winner or whether everyone can find a way to shine.

Kate and Jol Temple turn four letters into a fast, playful celebration of language. The repeated pattern encourages children to join in, predict the next idea and invent their own combinations, while Rebel Challenger's vibrant animal illustrations give every boast, pose and performance extra comic energy.

Short, exuberant and made for reading aloud, G.O.A.T combines farmyard comedy, visual humour and creative wordplay with an inclusive message about different talents. It is an inviting choice for children who enjoy funny animals, absurd phrases and stories that can continue through their own ideas after the final page.
