For years, through our work as Book Mama, we’ve partnered with local schools, nurseries, charities, and community organisations across Aberdeen and beyond to bring the joy of reading to as many children and families as possible. Wonder Wing builds on that foundation — continuing the relationships, initiatives, and values that have always been at the heart of what we do.

Charities & Organisations We Support

Under our Book Mama banner — now carried forward through Wonder Wing — we’ve been proud to work with and support:

CLAN Cancer Support – helping individuals and families affected by cancer.
The Archie Foundation – funding specialist healthcare for babies, children, and their families across the North of Scotland.
Charlie House – supporting children with life‑limiting conditions and their families.
King’s Church Aberdeen – a key community organisation providing outreach and support.
Northsound Cash for Kids – improving the lives of disadvantaged children across the North East.

Local Schools & Nurseries

Through book fairs, literacy events, and reading initiatives, we’ve partnered with local schools and nurseries to make books more accessible, raise funds for school libraries, and help teachers and parents choose books that children love. This work will remain a core part of Wonder Wing’s mission.
