Zookeeper Bob McGrew cares deeply about his animals, but there is one part of his job he could happily do without: the endless scooping of poo. There is tiger poo, lion poo, bouncing poo, splatting poo and far more of it than one tired zookeeper ought to manage alone.
 
Then something truly extraordinary appears—a huge, shimmering green poo that looks as though it might have fallen from outer space. Visitors flock to see it, and an enthusiastic collector is determined to add the mysterious specimen to his collection. But the real explanation may be much closer to home.
 
Steve Smallman’s romping rhyme turns every splat, plop and peculiar dropping into a joyfully mischievous read-aloud. Ada Grey’s lively illustrations are packed with expressive animals, visual jokes and wonderfully ridiculous details.
