Allies

Allies by Alan Gratz

From the bestselling author of Refugee comes a stunning, multi-perspective novel centred on D-Day, June 6, 1944. As the Allied nations launch the most expansive military endeavour in history to dismantle Nazi tyranny, the story follows individuals whose lives intersect during the invasion. From Dee, a terrified young U.S. soldier on a boat racing toward the coast, to Samira, a spy sabotaging the German army behind enemy lines, this is a breathtaking tale of teamwork and heroism.

Meticulously researched and fast-paced, Allies provides a multifaceted portrait of the human costs of war and the coordination required to change the world.
