Australia (My Story)

Australia (My Story) by Goldie Alexander

In 1790, Elizabeth Harvey is thrown into London’s Newgate Prison for a crime she did not commit. Soon, she finds herself transported across the world to the fledgling colony of Sydney Cove. Working as a maidservant to a surgeon, Elizabeth must face the brutal reality of survival in a stark new continent alongside the very convicts she was sent with.

This gripping historical diary offers a first-hand look at the hardships, hope, and resilience of those forced to build a life in early Australia.
