The Boy Who Grew Dragons

The Boy Who Grew Dragons by Andy Shepherd (Illustrated by Sara Ogilvie)

When Tomas discovers a strange fruit tree at the bottom of his grandad’s garden, he never imagines it’ll grow dragons! But soon, a tiny dragon named Flicker hatches—and life becomes a whole lot more exciting (and a little bit smoky). From singed toothbrushes to pants on the TV aerial, Tomas quickly learns that looking after dragons is anything but ordinary.

The first in Andy Shepherd’s hilarious and heartwarming series, The Boy Who Grew Dragons is perfect for young readers who love magic, mischief, and friendship.
