Archie’s determined attempts to make everything as Christmassy as possible send the family’s preparations into cheerful disarray, complete with an unexpected indoor snowstorm. Fortunately, his family meets the mayhem with patience, humour and plenty of affection.
 
Tim Warnes fills the pages with warm, expressive illustrations that capture both the enormous excitement of Christmas and the familiar chaos of a small child trying very hard to help. This is a lively, reassuring story for children whose enthusiasm sometimes arrives a little earlier than their patience.
